Lamitec, a member of PBS holding group, a leading provider of office supplies, paper, hygiene, and refreshments on the Slovak market with a turnover of €26 million, has announced the acquisition of Papera, a company with the same focus and a turnover of €6 million. The acquisition became effective with the signing of contracts on September 5, 2025, in Bratislava.
Papera will become part of Lamitec through a merger by the end of 2025, and the Papera brand will cease to exist in the Slovak market. This acquisition will strengthen Lamitec’s position in the Slovak market, especially in the Banská Bystrica region, and will give Papera’s customers access to a wider portfolio of products and services. The company Papera on the Czech market will continue without a change of ownership.
“We are thrilled to welcome the Papera team to Lamitec,” said Martin Molčan, managing director of Lamitec. “Papera has an excellent reputation for fast, ‘at-the-desk’ deliveries, a wide range of hygiene products, and printer rentals for customers. We are confident that together we will be able to better meet the needs of customers throughout Slovakia with our own transport.”
Milan Vetr, former managing director and co-owner of Papera, added: “We are happy to join Lamitec in the Slovak market. We believe this merger will bring many benefits to our customers and employees. At the same time, this merger will allow us to free up our hands to focus more intensively on our company Papera in the Czech market.
