Yesterday evening, 20 September, the auditing and consulting firm Deloitte, together with Raiffeisenlandesbank NÖ-Wien, presented privately managed companies with the “Austria’s Best Managed Companies” award for the third time in a row at a gala event held high above the rooftops of Vienna in the Raiffeisenhaus.
PBS Holding AG took up the challenge of the independent assessment process accompanied by Deloitte and may now call itself “Best Managed Company” after last night’s ceremony.
“Best Managed Companies” is a Deloitte programme that has been in existence internationally for several years. The awards recognise companies that excel in four categories: strategy, productivity and innovation, governance and finance, and culture and commitment.
Dr Richard Scharmann, CEO of PBS Holding AG, expressed his thanks at the award ceremony with the following words:
“This award for PBS Holding as one of the best-managed companies in Austria underlines once again that we can all be proud of our corporate development. Success doesn’t happen by itself, but is the result of all our efforts and tremendous dedication.”
