After PBS Holding was able to increase its turnover by more than 17 % to EUR 420 million last year and further company acquisitions in Germany were successfully integrated into the company’s international structure, the company continues to invest in growth. Additional logistics structures are currently being built in Germany and Austria to support the company’s dynamic growth. The ground-breaking ceremony for the new logistics centre of PBS Logitek Dienstleistungs GmbH took place in Wels. The necessary expansion of the logistics offers 18,000 pallet spaces and 14 docking ramps on an area spanning roughly 12,000 m². The use of the latest ecological standards in the construction of the building is also particularly noteworthy. Geothermal energy and a 1.0 MW photovoltaic system make the hall sustainable and environmentally friendly. Completion of the new logistics centre is scheduled for July 2024.
